This tree is of regional significance as one of the oldest and largest of a group of remnant River Red Gums.

Threats/Risks to Tree: A large cutting has been made close to the base of the tree to allow the construction of the storage shed. This cutting may affect the tree's health and stability over time.
Other/Notes: Rot is present, with a split down the side of the trunk, nearly to the base, where branches were removed. This species is a known limb dropper.
