Wesleyan Manse - Physical Description 1
Number 26 Helen Street is a two-storey, asymmetrical rendered brick Italianate villa. It has a two storey verandah with coupled composite order cast iron posts, friezes and balustrade panels. A dentilated string-course divides the bay window horizontally, whilst vermiculated panels underscore each opening and divide each eaves bracket or bracket pair. Segmented-arched and semi-circular arched openings have keystoned rendered archivolts. An impost moulding with attached rosettes decorate the verandah walls. The ruled render is unpainted. The original fence has been replaced and spouting has been renewed.
