KENNEDY'S QUARRY HUT SITE - History
The huts were built in 1950's to house Italian migrant workers. Huts abandoned when workers left during the 1950's - 60's. Quarry was owned by Manuel during the period.KENNEDY'S QUARRY HUT SITE - Interpretation of Site
The remains of migrant Italian workers huts from the 1950's. Workers from Manuel's Quarry built huts close to the quarry site.

KENNEDY'S QUARRY HUT SITE - Heritage Inventory Description
The remains of former huts sites extend over approximately 30 x 40 m. Possibly further however it is very overgrown. Remains include wooden stumps, planks of wood, depressions in the ground and one hut that remains partially standing. Thishut has sawn timbers as well as split timbers. Arium lillies present.
