Possible options for the history of the site:
1. Gold Mining (unlikely)
2. Associated with RAAF occupation of the area in WWII
3. Associated with construction of the reservoir 1930's-1950's.

Site consists of a mound of sorted quartz gravel, some minor earthworks and a concrete slab.
