  • Connection to WWI and WWII

    05/08/15

The Repatriation Commission Outpatient Clinic remains one of the few sites in Melbourne with a direct connection to the veterans (survivors) of WWI. Opened on 15 November 1937 it was used by up to 250 veterans each day who had been injured or wounded during WWI. Unlike most memorials what are sights of commemoration to those who died in way, The Outpatient Clinic is one of the few that has a connection to the survivors.
