Potential to contain intact deposits, would be of high significance as a rare example of a coach station in the Western District.

'HALFWAY HOUSE' COACH CHANGING STATION - Heritage Inventory Description
Site comprises various fruit trees, wooden fences (mostly incomplete), yards, a well (now collapsed), a wooden building and a small quantity of rubble and other building materials. The site covers approximately 1.5 - 2.0 acres.

Heritage Inventory Site Features: Building - small weather board building on stilts with tin roof (approx. 8x3.5m area).Well - measures approx. 1.5m across and is now collapsed and filled with rubble.
