Potential to contain intact features & deposits relating to it's use a sawmill between 1940-41. Significant as a rare example of an extant sawmill.

HETHERINGTON'S SAWMILL, LANGKOOP - Heritage Inventory Description
Relatively extensive remains of a sawmill. Remains of at least two benches. The most intact has logs on either side of a trench about 1.2m apart, with cross beams. E of this are three remaining bedlogs for another bench. There is also a shallow depression about 2.5m long and two forked branches about 0.6m high of unknown function.
Heritage Inventory Significance: Regional - one of the few permanent, as opposed to spot, mills in the Edenhope district.
Heritage Inventory Site Features: Remains of benches.Shallow depression.
