Statement of Significance
A church built in 1888 to the design of T J Crouch in a basically Gothic style enlivened by two splendidly romantic towers, the lower one French in character with a roof of witch's hat profile and punctuated by lucarnes, the higher one with a steeper and simpler roof surmounting an open bell logia with criss-cross balustrading. It was unusual in having a corrugated iron roof which remains, but the stuccoing of the exterior is not original. Internally the most distinctive feature is the painted vine around the chancel.
