MOONAH TRACK & WATTLE TRACK CHARCOAL PITS - Heritage Inventory Description
Three charcoal burning pits - probably dating to late 19th or early 20 th century. the site is located within the present day Hattah - Kulkyne National Park, but is on land which was part of the former Grayfield squatting run.
Heritage Inventory Significance: Unknown

Heritage Inventory Site Features: The pits were situated due west of Moondah Track, within 10 -15 m of the intersection with wattle TrackThe pits were approx 2m in length, 1.5 m wide and 60-80 cm deep (although well filled with leaf litter.No charcoal was noted although visibly in the pit was 0-5%Parks Ranger, Phil Murdoch recognised them as charcoal pits.
