OUYEN NORTHWEST STATE SCHOOL SITE - History
Heritage Inventory History of Site: School operated between 1914-1938 (No. 3853). Situated on the north "apex of block 42000 in 1922 a new building was erected 3 miles north of the existing site on land donated by P.Munro (Lot 5, Parish of Kia). Reference: Ouyen Historical society.

OUYEN NORTHWEST STATE SCHOOL SITE - Heritage Inventory Description
Site of former Ouyen Northwest State school. Now no longer in existence, the site is littered with bricks and brick fragments, pieces of metal and a plaque marks the location of the school.
Heritage Inventory Significance: Low, although the site is of high local historic significance.
