Heritage Inventory History of Site: School operated between 1934 and 1939. In 1937 the school was burnt down and classes were held in the home of ned Healy.

WYMLET SOUTH STATE SCHOOL SITE - Heritage Inventory Description
Site of the former Wymlet South Primary School. No longer in existence. The site is littered with brick fragments, ceramics, sheet metal, one galvanaised iron water tank (crushed) situated within the current road reserve.
Heritage Inventory Significance: Low significance, high local historic significance.
