Statement of Significance
Tenders were called in November 1850 for this very early example of a semi-detached two storey pair of houses, which were designed by the architects Surplice and Sons in a conservative classical style in ashlar freestone, and erected in 1851-52. This symmetrical pair of houses shares an arcaded portico and there is a central first floor triple arched window. The interior has a number of early features intact.
