Statement of Significance
Two storey gabled house built 1854 by and for Edward Snell, architect, also engineer of Geelong/Melbourne Railway. Later owned by George Morrison (founding headmaster) of Geelong College(1861) who lived there while directing the school in Knowle House next door.Now almost unrecognizably defaced by extensions and alteration.
