Statement of Significance
Austin Hall & Austin Terraces: Two pairs of single-storey cottages flanking a two-storey building with central clock tower, all in polychrome brickwork with slate roofs and elaborate cast-iron verandah trim, erected 1888 for administration by the Ladies' Benevolent Association.

Residential building symmetrically grouped about a central clock tower, all erected 1887-89 by Mrs Thomas Austin of Barwon Park for administration by the Ladies' Benevolent Association and still maintained by the Association's successors. Group Classification 15/05/1975
