Statement of Significance
Outstanding size
An outstanding example of the species which occurs in the upper Snowy River region. Located in a former cattle holding area, the tree is notable for its large dome-shaped crown and dense canopy. The tree features a large lower side branch, unusual when compared to the rest of the population.
This tree is located at Gattamurgh Ford, Snowy River National Park, 1.75km south along the track to stone hut remains and 0.6km east.
