Contribution to the landscape
An interesting stand of Cork Oaks (Quercus suber)planted along the southern edge of a commercial pine plantation (Pinus radiata). The stand is one of the many trial plantings of species by the former Forests Commission. It may be of genetic importance and is a potential seed source.
