Outstanding example of species
This is a very large specimen of an unusual species, native to South America. It has developed the characteristic form of a large base supporting several large branches. The tree is in excellent condition although the large base has areas of decay and large cavities have developed. The tree will require regular inspection to reduce the likelihood of premature collapse of the canopy. The public should not be permitted to climb through the tree.
