Contribution to the landscape of historic garden
Outstanding size
Very large mature specimen of Ironbark growing in the grounds of the 'Black Springs Bakery'. The original bakery was built in 1875 by William James Price, a Beechworth pioneer and is listed on the Victorian Heritage Register.
The tree was believed to have been planted by Mrs Price in the 1890s.
