Statement of Significance
Location or Context: Remnant Vegetation.
Rare or Localised: Disjunct community.
A stand of six trees with 3-4 suckers growing on the rail reserve. Along the fence line are three Allocasuarina verticillata. This is an isolated stand of Bull-oak which is normally restricted to northern Victoria, This stand is the most southerly occurrence of the species. Although the trees are in good condition regrowth of suckers is being restricted by Acacia pycnantha seedlings, which should be removed.
The trees are located 3.4 kms from Walkers Rd roundabout, along Mills Road (opposite No 215), 100 m before Plains Road intersection in reserve across railway tracks
