A large cedar planted about.1853 by Johann Gottlieb Thiele, the great, great grandfather of the present owner. This specimen is believed to have been a gift from Baron von Mueller. 'Friedensruh' is Classified by the National Trust, and recorded by the Australian Heritage Commission and the Historic Building Act
