Statement of Significance
Tree which occurs in a unique location or context and so provides a contribution to the historic garden or park;
Outstanding size:
Outstanding example of species.
Outstanding specimen of this native species. Podocarpus elatus is reputed to be one of the largest trees attaining a height of 100 feet and found in the coast district gullies of NSW and southern Queensland. This is the largest known example known in cultivation in Victoria.
2004: The crown has been cabled. The trunk has split in two.
