Outstanding example of species
An outstanding specimen of this attractive hybrid. A cross between Brachychiton acerifolius and Brachychiton populneus, the tree has an upright habit, shiny leaves and produces red bell-shaped flowers in summer. A second specimen occurs North West of the central fountain. Also known at Queens Park, however the species is uncommon in cultivation.
