Aesthetic significance
An uncommmon planting style in Victoria, this fine row of Bunya Bunya Pines (Araucaria bidwillii) once formed the southern end of the Botanic Gardens. There is now a total of 11 trees. These trees make a major contribution to the landscape although the specimens at the eastern end have butt wounds and one is double forked.
