Outstanding example of species
A very attractive tree growing in a park largely composed of conifers. One of four trees in Eastern Park, they have developed spreading crowns and good branch and trunk structure. These trees are the only mature plantings known in Victoria. They produce good autumn colour and are particularly noticeable against the dark background of the conifers. The other trees occur South-East of the nursery entrance.
