Rare or localised
A fine example of this rarely cultivated species and a valuable addition to the collection of palm species cultivated in the Mildura region. Planted opposite the main entrance to the station within a row of palms comprising five Phoenix canariensis to the west, nine to the east, plus three Washingtonia robusta, all forming a major landscape feature. This palm was the only example of Jubaea observed in the Mildura region
