Contribution to historic garden
Rare or localised
Located in a largely overgrown area of the garden, this tree branches to five trunks at the 1m point with a well-developed canopy. Rare in cultivation in Victoria, the seed is believed to have been obtained from a specimen at Mt Beauty. Little is known of the history of this garden other than its association with the house, shown in early photographs circa1865
This tree is located in the lower garden east of homestead, beyond ha-ha wall.
