What is significant?
The c1951 house and the surrounding site to the title boundaries.
How is it significant?
The house is historically and architecturally significant to the Shire of Nillumbik.
Why is it significant?
The house is historically significant because it was the home of local academic,
Bruce Robert Moore (father of footballer Peter Moor who played for Collingwood and Melbourne) and illustrates the attraction of Eltham to academics during the mid part of the 20th century (Criteria H & A).
