Statement of Significance
The former Manchester Arms Billiard Room, 11-13 Alma Street, St Arnaud is historically and architecturally significant at a CONTRIBUTORY level. It is associated with the commercial developments in St Arnaud in the early 20th century and demonstrates important design qualities. These qualities include the wide hipped roof form with deep eaves with exposed rafter ends and the brick walls (now overpainted). The building was used as the Billiard Room for the nearby Manchester Arms Hotel but was not physically attached to that building.
