Statement of Significance
The house at 7 Kings Avenue Street, St Arnaud is historically and architecturally significant at a CONTRIBUTORY level. It is associated with residential developments in St Arnaud in the 20th century and demonstrates some important design qualities. These qualities include the hipped and gable roof forms, horizontal weatherboard wall cladding, skillion verandah with rendered balustrade and pressed cement columns and the timber framed windows. The garden setting, fence and setbacks from the front and side boundaries of the building on the site contributes to the streetscape in the area.
