Statement of Significance
The house at 32 Kings Avenue is historically and architecturally significant at a CONTRIBUTORY level. It is associated with residential developments in St Arnaud in the 19th and early 20th century and demonstrates some important design qualities. These qualities include the hipped and gable roof form, horizontal weatherboard wall cladding, skillion verandah, with cast iron posts and decorative cast iron frieze and brackets, corrugated roof cladding, decorative timber eaves brackets and gable infill and the timber framed windows. The front boundary hedge also contributes to the streetscape.
