Statement of Significance
The house at the corner of McMahon and Inkerman Streets, St Arnaud is historically and architecturally significant at a CONTRIBUTORY level. It is associated with residential developments in St Arnaud in the early 20th century and demonstrates some important design qualities. These qualities include the gable roof forms, horizontal weatherboard wall cladding, gable roofed verandah, galvanised corrugated iron roof cladding, brick chimneys and the timber framed windows. The setbacks from the front and side boundaries of the building on the site contributes to the streetscape in the area.
