What is significant? The pipework, action, windchests, wind system and console of the pipe organ built c. 1866.
How is it significant? The organ is significant for historic and aesthetic reasons at a regional level
Why is it significant? The pipe organis significant for the following reasons:
. It retains its original mechanisms and wind system
. It retains all of its original pipework
. It is a very early and rare example of indigenous organ building
. It is the earliest documented organ built by William Anderson
. It was originally sited at the Prahran Town Hall
