Statement of Significance
A remnant memorial avenue of 15-17 English ash trees commemorating the pioneer women ofthe district, planted in 1936, in Main Street west ofthe town, paid for by public subscription.

Pioneer Women's Avenue (Part of Road Reserve) - Physical Description 1
Only about 15-17 trees survive in avenue formation between the water tank and Clarinda Street. There are about six on the north side of Bacchus Marsh Road and about eleven on the south side. Two ofthese form a second line indicating that the avenue may have been double, at least on the south side. There are no plaques or other identification.
