Bendigo Cenotaph - Veterans Description for Public
The Bendigo Cenotaph (literally meaning 'empty tomb') was built after the First World War and is a half size replica of the London cenotaph designed by Sir Edward Lutyens in 1919. The simple inscription reads "To the Glorious Dead." It stands in the gardens near the fountain.
