Bright Memorial Gates - Physical Description 1
Rustic stone pillars with ornamental wrought iron gates, ornamental lanterns. On the 11th November 1951 these gates were officially unveiled by Mrs Margaret Lumsden representing families of the fallen in World War Two, 1939 - 1945. The gates were a gift of public donation to the Bright Progressive Association.

Bright Memorial Gates - Veterans Description for Public
The Bright Memorial Gates are located in Centenary Park, on Gavin Street. The memorial comprises of four rustic stone pillars with ornamental wrought iron gates, lanterns and the inscription"Lest We Forget." The construction of thegates was funded by public donation andthen gifted to the Bright Progressive Association. On 11th November 1951, they were officially unveiled by Mrs Margaret Lumsden who represented families who had lost relatives in the Second World War.
