PRE-1909: SOLELY AGRICULTURAL USE.
1909-1914: CONSTRUCTION OF MAIN HOSPITAL BUILDINGS AND ANCILLARY STRUCTURES, INCLUDING FARM.
1914-1952: SOME ADDITIONS/MODIFICATION OF BUILDING LAYOUT. FARM CLOSED.
1953-1970S: MINOR ALTERATIONS ONLY. CONSTRUCTION OF TULLAMARINE FREEWAT ALONG WEST MARGIN. TAFE COLLEGE BUILT IN SOUTHERN CORNER.
1970S-PRESENT: FURTHER CONSTRUCTION PROGRESS; SOME DEMOLITION. HOSPITAL CLOSES 2000.

ROYAL PARK HOSPITAL PRECINCT - Heritage Inventory Description
The former Royal Park Hospital precinct, encompassing the extant early builing complex and a curtilage containing a zone of archaeological potential around the original hospital site and attached farm. The integrity of the sire has been compromised by extreme re-development.
Extant buildings associated with original hospital and potential archaeological deposits associated with early use of hospital and attached farm. Some historic vegetation and extant buildings.
