12 Tower Place - Physical Description 1
A fine two storey house built at the peak of the prosperous 1920s. The roof comprises two closely intersecting gables which place the first floor within the roof space but prominently visible at each gable end. The street facing gable incorporates a wide porch opening with shallow arch head. Above is a balcony serving the first floor, reflectingthe arch below in shallow scalloped form. The walls are a mixture of rough cast, face brick and render. A simplified quoin treatment is applied horizontally in several locations. Windows are composite double hung type with leaded lights to the upper sashes. The fence utilizes the same materials as the house and provides a fine setting to the house. A substantial garden completes the property.
