Statement of Significance
1. This property, built in 1910-11 for Sarah Dalley, has architectural significance as an early concrete structure.
2. It has historical importance for its associations with the Dalleys, a well known Hawthorn family of market gardeners and orchardists. It was one of a large number of houses built at this time for the Dalley family on the north side of Henrietta Street. This was previously the site of the Dalleys market garden and orchards.
3. Requires on-site inspection to confirm the material of wall construction. If this is found to be concrete then further research and review of the grading is required.
