65 Lisson Grove - Physical Description 1
A single storey garden villa executed in render (retaining an early ochre wash) with a cast iron verandah, and hipped slate roof. The facade is symmetrical about the central door and flanked by bay windows set under the verandah roof. The verandah is not cranked to follow the bays, but is a simple flat front with a small gable centrally located to define the door.
The reveals to openings incorporate finely executed colonnettes. The chimneys have fine panel mouldings.
The central path and simple garden compliment the simple house form. Parts of an early picket fence remain in the existing fence.
