PORT FAIRY WHIM FOUNDATIONS - History

The site is spread over a 20 metre area. The main location adjacent to a dirt track comprises a set of iron square brackets fixed in the ground near 3 approximately 6 metre long iron girders. To the north east in amongst low tree cover and bluestone boulders there are timber beams, an iron rail and what appears to be the remains of a staircase or the drum of the whim.
