STATEMENT OF SIGNIFICANCE
180 Autumn Street was an early building in this area. It was owned by two families, first Homewood and then Honey, in the nineteenth century. The well proportioned building is set well back from the front boundary on land now greatly reduced in size. It is of local significance.

A more appropriate colour and verandah would greatly enhance the character of this property as would a more sympathetic extension.

Units - Physical Description 1
DESCRIPTION
It is a finely proportioned single storey brick and stucco building with a hipped roof covered in slates. The front elevation is symmetrical with a central front door and a double-hung window on either side. Decorative elements include the stucco quoin work on the wall angles and the doorway. The west extension, verandah and fence ere alterations carried our circa 1910. Quoin work is similar to that employed at the former Shearer's Arms Hotel, 202 Aberdeen Street.
