STATEMENT OF SIGNIFICANCE
A brick Californian Bungalow built in 1926. It is architecturally significant as characteristic of this style and historically significant as the representative embodiment of life in 1920s Newtown.

Residence - Physical Description 1
A simple, brick Californian Bungalow, with a broad gable roof facing, with an attic. At right is a minor gable, over the verandah, supported on cylindrical pylons over brick piers. The gable has a rectangular louvred vent, over mock shingles, jettying on joists. There is a catenary curved brick balustrade. At left is a flat-roofed, canted bay. Rafters are exposed. There isa soldier-course clinker decorative bands. The brickwork has tuckpointing.
