STATEMENT OF SIGNIFICANCE
A timber Bungalow built in 1923. It is architecturally significant as characteristic of this style and historically significant as physical evidence of life in 1920s Newtown.

Residence "Rayleigh" - Physical Description 1
A timber Bungalow with a broad gable-roof across. A major gable projects at left and a minor gable centre, as the porch. This has post-pairs, with palisade and stud valence decoration. Each gable is supported by exposed purlins on large ogee brackets. Windows are triple casements, with unusually arched upper lights in leadlight and flat hoods, with fretwork rafters expressed.
