STATEMENT OF SIGNIFICANCE
A timber Californian Bungalow built in 1925. It is architecturally significance locally as characteristic of this domestic style, with some interesting details remnant from Edwardian such as the brackets and tuckpointing. It has historical significance as the representative embodiment of family life in the confident 1920s.

Residence - Physical Description 1
A timber, double-fronted Californian Bungalow, with a broad gable-roof facing, with Marseilles pattern unglazed terracotta tiles. There are four minor gables at centre right side, right front, centre front and left side, front. These are supported on ogee timber brackets, with rectangular louvred vents and shingles, over small, convex triple-brackets. Beneath right front, is a bow window with a skillion hood, with its soffit clad with shingles.
Windows have leadlight upper sashes. The centre gable is over the verandah, with a large round arch, decorated with tuck-pointed, red header bricks and with battered sides. The verandah extends around the left side, under the fourth gable, with a rendered balustrade and decorated tuck-pointed brick piers. Rafters are exposed.
