STATEMENT OF SIGNIFICANCE
Former 'Talarno' is a timber Edwardian house built in 1890's. It is architecturally significant locally as a restrained, but unusual variant of this style and historically significant as a representative embodiment of family life in the early years of the twentieth century.
INTACTNESS: Good. The fence, carport, ledlight and balustrade are relatively recent.

Residence " Talarno" - Physical Description 1
A timber hip-roofed double-fronted Edwardian house.The left bay projects with an unusual, rectangular oriel window, supported on ogee brackets. In the angle, under the roof, is the verandah, which returns at right. It has a palisade rail valance, ogee brackets and an arch with wavy decoration over the entry. This has a four-panelled door with fan-light.
