SIGNIFICANCE
A timber Edwardian house built in 1910-11. It is architecturally significant locally as characteristic ofthis domestic style, particularly for its complex form including the belvedere. It is historically significant as the representative embodiment of the confident lifestyle of early twentieth century Newtown.
INTACTNESS
Reasonable, but it is entirely cream brick-clad. Windows appear to have been replaced. Otherwise intact.

Residence - Physical Description 1
DESCRIPTION
A hip-roofed Edwardian, timber triple-fronted house. The left front and right side bays project as gables. These have timbered roughcast upper sections, jettying on brackets, over shingles. The verandah is around the angle on timber posts, with large fretwork brackets of intertwined plant forms. At the angle is an octagonal bay window. Over this is a gable-roofed belvedere, projecting on the splay, from the hip. It has an arched transom and balustrade, with shingles. Chimneys have pots. (Obscured).
