STATEMENT OF SIGNIFICANCE
A timber Californian Bungalow built in 1923. It is architecturally significant locally as a characteristic example of this domestic style and historically significant as a representative embodiment of family life in 1920s Newtown.

Residence - Physical Description 1
A timber, doublefronted Californian Bungalow, with a gable roof across. The right bay projects as a gable, over the verandah. The upper gable has a rectangular vent and timbering over shingles splaying, supported on bullnosed brackets, all on tuckpointed brick piers and balustrade. The entrance has a sidelight. The chimney is detached, with a terracotta pot. A skillion side window-hood is supported on timber brackets.
