Acharacteristic symmetrical timber Italianate house. It is locally architecturally significant representative embodimentof the Edwardian period in Newtown

Residence "Lystow" - Physical Description 1
A double fronted symmetrical timber Italiante house, with a hip-roof. The chimney has Clasical moudlings and eaves have coved brackets pairs, lozenges and panels between in the frieze. The shallow hip-roofed verandah has timber posts with small zinc Corinthian capitals and decoration with cast-iron lace valence and brackets in a bracken pattern. Windows are tri-parite and the 4-panelled door haws side and fan-lights with cut decorative ruby glass. Weatherboards are beaded at front.
