STATEMENT OF SIGNIFICANCE
A plain, yet unusual Californian Bungalow built in 1920-21. It is architecturally significant locally as an upretentious Bungalow of interesting formal design and historically as a representative embodiment of family life in 1920s Newtown.

Residence - Physical Description 1
An unusual double-fronted, undecorated timber Californian Bungalow with a gable-roof facing. A left facing gable projects over the recessed porch. Walls are roughcast over dado height. At side left is a rectangular bay window. Teh right window has sinuous ogee brackets. Windows are casements with diamond leadlights.
