Residence - Physical Description 1
A triple-fronted, hip-roofed timber Edwardian house. Gables project at left side rear and right, with a gablet at the angle, on the splay, over a bay window. The verandah extends around the angle and beneath the right gable. Chimneys are rendered with a brick frieze and terracotta pots. Upper gables have Medievalising timbers on coved brackets, with blind arcading, with tracery below. The verandah has a palisade valence, with incised tulip decoration on decorative fretwork panels and Doric posts. At right, this projects as a catenary curve, with large flamboyant double tulip fretwork. There is a nameplate, but it was not visible.
